Nageshwar Kumar

I am passionate about IoT, VLSI, and hardware-software integrations. My focus is on developing smart devices and optimizing algorithms to bridge hardware-software gaps for impactful solutions.

With experience in various technical roles and a strong academic background, I am dedicated to creating innovative solutions that address real-world challenges. My work has been recognized through awards, patents, and collaborations with organizations like the Indian Army.

Implemented FFT-based multiband spectrum sensing hardware for a full-duplex cognitive radio receiver. Addressed residual self-interference masking weak signals under multipath fading conditions. Integrated Xilinx FFT IP (64-point, 16-bit fixed-point) with custom Verilog DSP modules (complex multipliers, dividers, adders) and validated against MATLAB and Python reference models.

Designed and implemented parameterized FIFO buffers in Verilog HDL to handle high-throughput data storage across synchronous and asynchronous clock domains. The synchronous FIFO uses counter-based full/empty detection under a single clock, while the asynchronous FIFO employs Gray-coded pointers with 2-FF synchronizers to safely resolve metastability during clock domain crossing. These designs are essential for UARTs, digital pipelines, and multi-clock SoCs.
